To further cover up their tracks, the killer did a locked-room trick. The culprit did not realize then that the duct tape peeled off and fell under her. They used duct tape on Angie's forehead to stop the bleeding and carried her to the research lab. Having been seen, the killer improvised and hit her on the forehead with the floorboard. However, Angie bumped into them while getting a candle for her ritual. With a saw, the culprit was cutting cross pieces to make the floorboard seesaw plan work. And there’s all the really racist and offensive things that Angie described about her island village during her Free Time events, all of which she claims that Atua would approve of. The non-believers such as Kaito and Tenko are treated in the right for not trusting Atua and seeing them and Angie as a threat to their group. Angie used the name of Atua to manipulate the students and form her own cult in order to gain power. While it is good that Atua was used to promote Polynesian representation, it’s still pretty controversial because of how Atua was portrayed as an antagonistic force in the Killing Game. Friendly Reminder: Atua is the real life name of supernatural gods from Polynesian culture and we as fans should be careful with how we use the concept of Atua regarding Angie’s character.
